Amevive FDA Approval
Amevive FDA approval allows us to have more trust in this biologic. The FDA has approved Amevive for the treatment of adult psoriasis patients with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis back in 2003.
The FDA has been encouraging doctors to monitor the counts of white blood cells in the blood of the patients during the therapy. The FDA also encourages physicians to inform the patients about the importance of reporting any signs of malignancy or infection, as soon as they notice these signs.
Since the effect of Amevive on pregnancy and the fetus is unknown, this drug is not recommended to use during pregnancy.
