What is ParaPsoriasis?

The term "ParaPsoriasis" was formed in 1902.

Parapsoriasis is a group of diseases with external manifestations similar to psoriasis.

These diseases may have some other similarities to psoriasis, but have absolutely different mechanisms and causes than psoriasis.

A uniform definition of parapsoriasis is still lacking.

Common Classifications of Psoriasis and Parapsoriasis

1. Diseases of the Skin and Appendages by Morphology

According to this first classification, psoriasis and parapsoriasis both belong to the following group of the "Diseases of the skin and appendages by morphology":

2. Diseases of the Skin and Subcutaneous Tissue
