 pictures of scalp psoriasis pictures
As you can see from these scalp psoriasis pictures, this location is one of the worst. Psoriasis on the scalp may look as though you have dandruff. It does not look good on the ears and hairline...
In my case, scalp psoriasis was one of the last to start. First I got p. on my elbows, knees, and body. A few years later, it migrated onto the scalp as well. I've always enjoyed wearing my hair in a ponytail, until my scalp p. started; during my last few years at school I had to "let my hair down" :) As you can see from my photograph on the very top (where is says BIO), I still don't wear my hair up.
People try different things to treat scalp psoriasis, such as tar, UVB, apple cider vinegar, and others. Tar was too irritating for me, but many other people had good results with it. I have had good results with UVB brush, but the problem is that it takes a lot of time. You need to brush your hair with the lamp for 10-20 minutes almost every day for a month or so. Then you need to maintain it... I have heard that Doo Gro helps psoriasis on the scalp; you can find a page on my site about it - just use the search on top. I personally did not try Doo Gro.
If you have something that helps your scalp psoriasis, or you would like to share your pictures of scalp psoriasis, please comment here or send the pics to my email (in the BIO section). Thank you. Good luck to us all!
