Bad Diet and Psoriasis

Foods containing vinegar, pepper, and chocolate may influence psoriasis unfavorably and provoke its aggravation. Same relates to food poisonings and abuse of some food products.

Food and psoriasis correlation is based on that psoriasis is directly connected with the metabolic processes (continuous processes in our bodies and its cells, with which food products are turned into energy, tissue, and waste products).

However, there is not sufficien reliable data about the influence of the diet on the course of psoriasis. Different people may react in different ways to different food products.

Being Overweight

It is noted that among people with psoriasis there is a high percentage of people with excessive weight. It is therefore possible that getting rid of the extra weight will also help to improve psoriasis.

Hello Eusebio.

Thank you very much for complimenting Psoriasis-Aid.com

Thank you also for your valuable comment.

http://www.seignalet.com/ has the Book summary in English. I read it and I was amazed by the information presented by the author.

I truly do believe that the return to an ancestral diet would eliminate 90% of the diseases, just as it is listed in the description of the Book.

However, I also know that a strict healthy diet is a Utopia... An impossibility for the majority of the modern people.

Healthy diet is very expensive as well as it makes "being social" a very hard task. What about Restaurants, Vacations, Disney Land with its food, Cinemas with its Pop-Corn and Cola and so on and so forth.

However, I am truly glad for the people who have managed to adjust their diets, to be psoriasis-free (or other disorders free) and at the same time to be able to enjoy the modern life pleasures.

I guess the only way is some kind of a compromise between a healthy diet and a satisfied human being.

Or - to wait for 10-50 thousand years until our bodies adjust to the modern diet... Just kidding..
