If Someone Hurt You Emotionally...

Good sex makes the sex partners feel wanted, needed and loved by another individual.

What if you have had sex with someone you did not know too well, and if this someone has turned out to be a not understanding and a snobbish individual, and therefore, has hurt your sensitive feelings in regards to psoriasis?

Just realize - it is for the best that you have not stuck together with such a person. It was not meant to be. Your psoriasis may actually help you to separate the bad from the good.

See how the person feels about your psoriasis. If bad - then you don't need this person, because not understanding your psoriasis would mean not understanding many other important things in the future.

My advice: if the person you are planning to have sex with does not have psoriasis:

  • wait till your emotional relation has developed, then
  • tell your partner about your psoriasis and only then
  • proceed to the sexual part in order not to get burned in any way.

I remember telling to a couple people of the opposite sex about my psoriasis. The replies I got were: So what? I would not care... I used to have acne, rashes etc... I know another person with psoriasis etc...

If you did have a hurtful sexual (or even social) incident, it is better to talk to another person with psoriasis about it - you will definitely get help and support, and learn that you are not the only one.

And if you were hurt too bad, then it is better to talk to a therapist. Psychotherapy may really help one to cope with a mental trauma and not let it turn into an obsession.
